Visiting his home track, Brooke Tatnell dominated at PCR with one of his best runs at the venue.
After dealing with electrical problems the week before at the same venue, for the World Series, the Krikke Motorsports team bounced back and was definately the dominant force in the feature race. Although only being another round of the PCR track championship, the meeting attracted many of the travelling WSS teams, including the likes of Robbie Farr and Gary Brazier.
With a fourth place in his heat and a second in the dash, Brooke and the team felt confident in tackling the 30 lap feature.
Brooke was sitting second for the first 10 laps on the rear of Gary Brazier; Brazier slid off the track and from there the Krikke Motorsports, Maxwill Racing Engines machine was a clear leader and never headed for the final 20 laps.
Brooke drove to the win, the first win at the venue for a while, giving the team a confidence boost heading into the traditionally tough WSS Speedweek over the Christmas period.
The WSS Speedweek will not only see Brooke Tatnell wheeling a Maxwill Racing Engines powered machine, but also the likes of Max Dumesny, Americans Danny Smith subbing for the injured Trevor Green, and Craig Dollansky in the Robin Dawkins owned USA 7, Steve Lines, as well as many others showing promising speed with the likes of Daniel Pestka, Terry Pitt, Josh Ruhs and Justin Sloan, just to name a few.
Speedweek kicks off on Boxing Day, December 26 at Speedway City, followed by Murray Bridge, Mt Gambier, Avalon and the new years day show at Warrnambools Premier Speedway.
