Speedway City saw host to the 2010 Australian Super Sedan Title on the weekend. With Australias best fighting for the title around the 430 metre race track, just getting to the A Main was going to be a task. With inclement weather all weekend, it was a credit to the track staff and promoters to get the event run.

Mt Gambiers Dave Gartner was flying the flag for Maxwill Racing Engines, and did it proud, being a standout all weekend, everntually finishing 2nd in the rain delayed A Main. Gartner, was consistently fast from the outset, being second quickest in Wednesday nights practice by 2 hundreds of a second. Setting blistering pace in the heat races, with convincing wins, hunting around track record times, Dave qualified on pole for the A Main alongside eventual winned Jamie McHugh.

Alan Barlee has come away from the weekend victorious, winning the 40 lap Australian 360 Championship at South Australia's Murray Bridge Speedway. With a very competitive field, the weekend was filled with both great racing and plenty of action.

Northern Territory resident Barlee, starting from the second row of the grid quickly got into second position, putting alot of pressure on the reigning 360 Champion, Ryan Jones, before making a daring outside move on lap 22 to take control of the race. From there Barlee, driving his Maxwill Racing Engines Sprintcar was never challenged for the lead.

Saturday night saw round 9 of the Speedway City track championship being run and won by David Murcott, wheeling the Downing Brothers, Maxwill Racing Engines, Cool.

With Murcott out of the Championship chase, due to the team only running a handful of shows this season, it was evident they were only there for the win.

Saturday night saw the 28th running of the Nanovich Sprintcar King of Wings at the Perth Motorplex, with eventual winner Brooke Tatnell taking the Crown, leading the feature from start to finish.

Tatnell, aboard his Toyota Genuine Parts, Maxwill Racing Engines, Cool, took the 30 lap feature in excellent fashion, staying out of trouble in the busy lapped traffic.

With an entry list stacked with some of the best Sprintcar Drivers in Australia, the WA Southern Thunder Series visited Collie Speedway for round 3.

It was local boy, Maxwill Racing Engines pilot Ben Ellement who set quick time ahead of fellow Maxwill Racing Engines pilots Brooke Tatnell and Ken Sartori. Ellement set a time of 13.70 seconds around the Collie Speedway, putting him in the best vantage point for the rest of the night.

Brooke Tatnell took his 8th World Series Sprintcars Championship, by virtue of just making the feature lineup on the final night of the series at the Perth Motorplex.

On the back of three feature wins and eleven top 5 finishes, Tatnell won the 14 round series, 34 points ahead of the competition. This just proves not only the driving talent of Brooke, but also the ability of the extremely professional Krikke Motorsports, Toyota Genuine Parts outfit to provide top level equipment every night.

The National Super Sedan Series has just wound up, with some of the toughest Super Sedan competitors vying for top honours. Said to be the most competitive series to date, it saw Australias best take on 10 rounds throughout the country starting off in Queensland and travelling through New South Wales to Victoria, finishing up in South Australia.
